Arizona Lottery’s Mega Mondays Returns on August 2

PHOENIX, AZ–(Marketwire – July 30, 2010) –  Arizona Lottery is giving players a reason to look forward to Mondays this August with the return of Mega Mondays.

Every Monday during August, Arizona Lottery players purchasing one Quick Pick Mega Millions ticket with Megaplier and one Quick Pick Powerball ticket with PowerPlay will receive a free $1 Quick Pick The Pick ticket — a $5 value for only $4.

“Mega Mondays offer a great opportunity for new players to try a variety of Arizona Lottery games,” said Jeff Hatch-Miller, executive director of the Arizona Lottery. “I would like to encourage all Arizona Lottery players to take advantage of this great deal and help us award as many large prizes to Arizona residents as possible.”

This limited-time promotion will be available at all Arizona Lottery retailers every Monday in August.

Mega Millions drawings occur every Tuesday and Friday and drawings for Powerball and The Pick occur every Wednesday and Saturday. The winning numbers are broadcast during the 10 p.m. news on Channel 15 (ABC) in Phoenix and Channel 13 (CBS) in Tucson.
