The Barrett-Jackson Auction Company is now accepting entries from Las Vegas-area automotive enthusiasts for the 3rd Annual Las Vegas Barrett-Jackson Cruise-In on Saturday, Sept. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. PDT at Gaudin Ford. The Cruise-In will officially kick off Barrett-Jackson Week in Las Vegas, which includes a Road Rally, fashion shows, ride-n-drives, vendors and many amazing collector vehicles. Admission to the Cruise-In is free and all makes and models of vehicles are invited to be a part of the excitement.
“After two years of exceeding our entry limit of 100 cars, we’re excited to see the growth and excitement that this year’s Cruise-In will bring,” said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. “Of course, our success each year hasn’t come without the generous support from the community, which includes the local car clubs and enthusiasts as well as partners like Gaudin Ford and Keep Memory Alive. The Cruise-In has become one of our favorite events associated with Barrett-Jackson Week. Each year it becomes more difficult to choose only three of our favorite rides for the Barrett-Jackson Choice Awards.”
The first 100 registered vehicles will receive two free tickets to the 3rd Annual Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Auction at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Sept. 23 – 25, 2010. Hot dogs, hamburgers and additional refreshments will be on sale during the Cruise-In to benefit Keep Memory Alive, a Las Vegas based organization dedicated to the treatment and cure of people suffering from neurocognitive disorders. A “split-the-pot” raffle will also be held to support the charity.
Barrett-Jackson president, Steve Davis and vice president of consignment, Gary Bennett, will present the coveted “Barrett-Jackson Choice Award” to three Cruise-In entries, along with the “Barrett-Jackson Participant’s Choice Award,” which is selected by those with vehicles in the show.
The Barrett-Jackson team will be on-site to greet enthusiasts, judge entries, present the three “Barrett-Jackson Choice Awards,” and hand out posters and other give-away items. Barrett-Jackson discounted auction tickets and merchandise will also be available for purchase. Entertainment includes a live-radio remote, music, food and a thrilling line-up of incredible vehicles.
