POMONA, CA–(Marketwire – September 14, 2010) –  Visit the L.A. County Fair this weekend to celebrate Mexico’s bicentennial and all that the 2010 Fair has to offer! With an abundance of cultural events, the L.A. County Fair is the best place to salute and honor Mexico’s rich heritage and traditions.

Begin the festivities with Celebrate Mexico at the Flower & Garden Pavilion and let the colorful beauty of Mexico engage your senses with the brilliant flora of the region.

Calling all Chivas USA fans! Guests wearing Chivas USA logo merchandise will receive $5 off admission on Chivas USA Day, Sept. 18, with coupon available at www.LACountyFair.com. Chivas USA Day will also feature appearances by the ChivaGirls, ChivaFighter mascot, players and a mini soccer clinic for Fair guests.

New this year is the Univision Television Book Drive on Sept. 19. Children 12 and younger will receive free Fair admission from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. when they bring a new or slightly used book to donate. That same night, enjoy the MARIACHI USA Fiesta concert, an unforgettable uplifting Mariachi experience that will keep guests dancing, laughing and singing all night long.

The L.A. County Fair has countless ways to save with an assortment of discount tickets and constant promotions.
