MGallery Collection-MGallery Collection Steps Into 2026 With New

From the Maldives to Noosa, MGallery Maps Its Most Ambitious Year Yet

MGallery Collection has laid out its plans for 2026, and the message is clear. The brand is doubling down on destination-first hospitality. New openings stretch from island retreats to coastal towns and hillside sanctuaries, each tied closely to its surroundings.

The announcement marks the next phase for a portfolio that favors character over scale. Five new properties are set to open across Australia, the Maldives, France, and Thailand. Each location brings a different mood. Each property carries its own story.

A Return to the Maldives, Reimagined

Formerly known as Mirihi Island Resort, the property will reopen as V Villas Maldives at Mirihi – MGallery Collection in January 2026. The resort has undergone a full redesign and expansion led by Studio Gronda.

The updated property will feature 42 villas, ranging from beachfront hideaways to overwater residences and multi-bedroom suites with private pools. Design cues draw from Maldivian heritage and the Mirihi flower, shaping a calm atmosphere tied closely to the Indian Ocean.

Coral reefs surround the island. A protected lagoon softens the shoreline. The experience leans into quiet luxury, privacy, and a steady ocean pace rather than spectacle.

Noosa Welcomes a Mediterranean Accent

Elysium Noosa Resort – MGallery Collection opens in February 2026 on Hastings Street, steps from Noosa National Park and Laguna Bay. The property includes 175 rooms, with 104 suites and eight villas.

The signature Elysium Suite features its own private pool and elevated views. Interiors focus on light, texture, and natural tones. Indoor and outdoor spaces flow together, echoing beachside living.

Food plays a central role. Cibaria, developed with restaurateurs Alessandro and Anna Pavoni, centers on coastal produce and Mediterranean influence. Bar Capri adds an Italian aperitivo feel beside the pool, striped umbrellas included.

Oléron Island Brings Nature and Cuisine Together

Le Bel Hôtel Oléron – MGallery Collection is scheduled to open in April 2026 on France’s Atlantic coast. The hotel sits within a protected Natura 2000 site between pine forest and beach.

The property will offer 102 rooms, including eight suites, each with views of forest or ocean. Design references seaside homes from Oléron and the Hamptons, blending soft woods with mineral tones.

Dining will be led by Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire. Guests will have access to a signature restaurant, a table d’hôte, two bars, beach service, and a marine spa with thalassotherapy facilities.

Phuket Gains Two Distinct Retreats

Kamaliss MontAzure Phuket – MGallery Collection opens in April 2026 within the MontAzure community near Kamala Beach. The 150-room resort balances coastal energy with hillside calm.

A central lagoon anchors the property. Contemporary design follows natural rhythms. Guests gain easy access to Phuket’s cultural and entertainment offerings without sacrificing privacy.

Later in the year, Navera Phuket – MGallery Collection opens in June 2026 above Surin Beach. The property features 19 individually styled villas overlooking the Andaman Sea.

Design draws from maritime themes and Sino-Portuguese heritage. Each villa offers an intimate setting shaped by Thai cultural elements and panoramic views.

A Consistent Philosophy Across Continents

MGallery Collection continues to curate boutique hotels with distinct identity rather than uniform branding. Each opening reflects its location through architecture, cuisine, and atmosphere.

The 2026 pipeline reinforces that position. Guests are invited into places shaped by local context, personal scale, and deliberate design choices.

As the year approaches, these five openings outline where MGallery is headed. Fewer properties. Stronger sense of place. Memorable stays built on character rather than excess.
