Gator Bowl Brings Wolverines and Bulldogs to Amelia Island

AMELIA ISLAND, FL–(Marketwire – December 8, 2010) – On New Year’s Day, college football fans will pack the Everbank Field to watch the Wolverines of University of Michigan and Bulldogs of Mississippi State University compete in the 66th Gator Bowl. Located 45 minutes from the stadium, Florida’s Amelia Island is executing a game plan of its own to attract some of the visiting fans for the exciting football weekend. Many of the island’s resorts, hotels and inns are offering discounted specials and packages for the Gator Bowl.
