Marie Nasri, a restaurant server at the hotel in Destin FL, was chosen as one of three recipients for the 2010 award presented by the Walton County Tourist Development Council.
“Marie truly makes a difference in people’s lives by living the ‘pay it forward’ philosophy of life, one guest at a time,” said Robert Ouellette, director of operations at the Courtyard in his nomination of Nasri for the award. “She is a shining star who, day in and day out, goes above and beyond meeting and exceeding discerning guests’ expectations.”
Recipients are selected annually by the marketing committee of the Beaches of South Walton Tourist Development Council to recognize the individuals who make this Northwest Florida coastal area and its 15 distinctive beach communities a popular travel destination with an annual visitor return rate of 93 percent.
