While Sundance Vacations ranked #3,190 on the Inc. 500/5000 list, no other Pennsylvania travel business ranked higher than our Wilkes-Barre based wholesale travel company. Compared to travel companies on a national level, Sundance Vacations is the #16 fastest growing company in the travel category.

The company improved their ranking over 1500 spots from last year’s ranking of #4,718. Five executives from the company attended the Inc. 5000 Conference during the weekend of October 2nd. At the conference, Sundance Vacations was honored along with the rest of the Inc. 5000 list.

At the conference, the group was welcomed by President Clinton via video. President Clinton encouraged the attendees to consider mentoring small business startups in underserved areas. The US Trade Ambassador for the Obama administration, Ambassador Kirk, also spoke during the event. He applauded the companies in the room and encouraged everyone to globalize because 95% of the world’s consumers live outside the United States.

Sundance Vacations took the stage on Saturday Night to accept the Inc. 5000 award. Along with the company placing 16th overall in the Travel Industry Category, the company had a growth rate of 62%.
