Such is the case with Penn & Teller, the notorious bad boys of magic. In addition to celebrating their upcoming tenth anniversary playing at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, the twisted duo has extended their show through 2013. Performing together for more than three decades, the pair is marking the milestone by unveiling new, distinctively-offbeat creative advertisements. 

Complementing the brand new, larger than life depiction of Penn and a helium-filled Teller, which currently stands 26-stories high and graces the side of the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, the comedy-magic team is introducing a whole new set of cleverly-deranged images to run in print advertisements and on billboards, locally as well as nationally.

“After performing nightly for 10 years in the conveniently named Penn & Teller Theater, we’re really looking forward to spending another three years there,” stated Penn Jillette, the larger and louder half of Penn & Teller. “We’ve never played anywhere for this long or worked in such a beautiful theater. The Rio and its staff have really made this our true home.”

The comically-demented advertisements offers a visual testament to the dangers of improper handsaw use, a clear example of why you shouldn’t play with helium and how one can really use their brains to jump rope.

Throughout the years, Penn & Teller have remained on the forefront of the industry, appearing in their own Emmy-winning network specials as well as famously-outrageous appearances on “Late Night with David Letterman,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” the “TODAY” show, and television series such as “Friends,” “West Wing,” “Dancing With The Stars,” and even as animated guests on “The Simpsons.” The off-center pair recently completed the eighth season of “Penn & Teller: Bullsh*t!,” Showtime’s longest-running series and the recipient of more than a dozen Emmy nominations.

Penn & Teller landed in Las Vegas in 1993 and began a headlining engagement at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in January 2001. Since that time, they’ve been entertaining audiences with their daring trademark wit and shocking brand of comedy and magic.
