Parc Downsview Park Inc. Names William Bryck as new President and CEO


TORONTO, ONTARIO–(Marketwire – Aug. 13, 2010) – Parc Downsview Park Inc.’s (PDP) Board of Directors today announced that it has named William (Bill) Bryck as its new President and CEO.

Mr. Bryck brings over 30 years of extensive business expertise, and possesses extensive real estate and development experience having served with Markborough Properties, Enterprise Property Group, CB Richard Ellis Management Services and others. Most recently, he served as Acting Vice Principal, Operations and Finance of Queen’s University in Kingston, ON. Mr. Bryck holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University and is a Chartered Accountant.

(PDP) was established by the Government of Canada, stipulating that the land be developed as “a unique urban recreational greenspace for the enjoyment of future generations.” Downsview Park is self-financing, independent of government funding and is being designed to support environmental, social and economic sustainability. Of its 572 acres, a substantial majority are committed to public open space and recreational use.
