ROCKFORD, IL–(Marketwire – August 4, 2010) –  Noodles & Company, the restaurant that serves made-to-order noodles, soups, and salads inspired from around the world, will open its doors to “The Forest City” on Friday, August 13 at 10:30 a.m. The new restaurant is located at 6430 E. State St.

In celebration of the grand opening, the new restaurant is hosting a pre-opening fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club of Rockford on Wednesday, August 11, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The restaurant will donate 100 percent of the proceeds to the organization which provides hope, stability and opportunity for youth to make a difference in their lives.

“We are excited to bring our fast, fresh and affordable concept to Rockford,” said Kevin Reddy, CEO and chairman of Noodles & Company. “We feel our restaurant will be a great fit for the students attending the many post-secondary schools in the city.”
