SAN DIEGO, CA–(Marketwire – September 14, 2010) –  Mr. Copy, a Xerox company serving California, is supporting the San Diego area by helping Father Joe’s Thanksgiving Day 5K Run/Walk raise money to provide the San Diego area with a continuum of care that promotes a pathway to self-sufficiency and independence. The annual event will be held in Balboa Park and anticipates more than 10,000 participants.

Father Joe’s Thanksgiving Day 5K Run/Walk begins at 8 a.m. on Nov. 25, 2010. More than 10,000 runners and walkers will participate to raise money to feed those in need. Post-race entertainment will take place at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion and feature the sounds of the Bill Magee Blues Band. Participants also will be able to sample pies and enjoy a free beer garden (for those participants 21 years of age and older). For participants who raise more than $100, Father Joe will be signing his bobble head collectibles.
