There are three German dining establishments suggested to drop in to with unique rich flavors.  Try Friesenhaus Restaurant & Bakery and their famous Biergarten, Oma’s Haus Restaurant and New Braunfels Smokehouse, Inc.  Dancing to oompah music will work off that sumptuous dinner and set the mood for the rest of your lustrous filled night.  Local Texas romantic getaways are also adorned with German heritage to help set the stage and wet your enthusiasm in this area. 

For some enjoyable local entertainment, Wurstfest is held each year at the end of October through the middle of November down the banks of the beautiful Comal River.  Enjoy good fun, food, special events and Alpine and Bavarian style entertainment.
