Located at 4429 Kingston Pike (Western Plaza Shopping Center, formerly Green Hills Grille), the restaurant will open officially with a Knoxville Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting at 4:00 p.m. today. The public is invited.
“We are very excited to be opening this brand new concept in a favorite Knoxville spot. Fans of the old restaurant will find some familiar items on the menu as well as some fresh, new ones,” said Allazzar Cato, co-owner. Co-owner Kenneth Brown, added, “We’re originally from Philadelphia, so we are bringing some fresh new ideas from the northeast, too. We have planned another location for Gatlinburg, and we may even open one in Los Angeles.”
The menu includes pasta, fresh seafood and hand-cut 100% Certified Black Angus steaks, along with fresh salads and burgers. Signature dishes include Atlantic Salmon with a Citrus Cilantro Glaze, Shrimp Penne, the Sequoyah Hills Burger, and Executive Chef Tony Fisher’s specialty: Ancho Crusted Pork Tenderloin. Many will recognize general manager Ken Stroecker, who comes to One Tree Grille, having been the manager of Green Hills Grille for many years.
One Tree Grille is open 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sunday. A special brunch is served on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Happy Hour is 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day. The bar remains open 1 hour after the restaurant closes.
