Venture Into Magical Artistic Realms With Only Make Believe

LAGUNA BEACH, CA–(Marketwire – November 22, 2010) – Tickets for the much-anticipated 2011 Pageant of the Masters will go on sale December 1, 2010, just in the nick of time for that perfect holiday gift idea.

In the summer of 2011, get ready to believe in the art of the impossible! In its uniquely theatrical celebration of tableaux vivants — “living Pictures” — the 2011 Pageant of the Masters is venturing in to magical artistic realms. Only Make Believe will be your passport to explore worlds populated by ancient and modern superheroes and strange, mythical creatures. It will also showcase the creative expressions of artists who devoted themselves to conjuring everything from Victorian historical fantasies, illustrations for fairytales beginning “once upon a time,” to futuristic versions of things to come, all in a breathtaking performance of the “art that lives and breathes.” There’ll be no shortage of fun and fantasy for the whole family as Only Make Believe leaves ordinary life behind to reveal the wonders of artistic imaginations unleashed.

“Great seats are available right now, so call soon. ‘Only Make Believe’ promises to be a fun and entertaining show,” said Ticket Services Director Lucia McLeod.

Ticket prices range from $15 to $100. A Pageant ticket entitles you to free unlimited admission to the Festival of Arts grounds where you can enjoy original artwork by over 140 of Southern Orange County’s finest artists, art classes, musical entertainment, special art events, dining at Gina’s Alfresco and so much more. Tickets may be purchased by phone or online starting December 1 2010. 1-800-487-3378, or www.Pageanttickets.com.

The Pageant of the Masters will be performed nightly from July 7 through August 31, 2011. The Festival of Arts is a non-profit organization that produces The Festival of Arts — California’s Premier Fine Art Show and the Pageant of the Masters. Proceeds support the arts in Orange County.
