Over 900 square feet of living space and plentiful on-site free parking. The free village shuttle is also just steps away from the unit and it’s only two short stops to the main village (8 minutes).

Our vacation house is situated on 4 acres bordered by stonewalls and sugar maple trees. We are 10 miles from the Rutland airport.

The house easily accommodates a party of 7 people maximum in three bedrooms. There is seating for all guests around the woodstove and television with DIRECTV and DVD/VCR. The house floor plan is perfect for dinners after activities with a dining area next to the family room.

Located in the Central Vermont Killington area, our house is in a location convenient to all area ski resorts, outlet shopping and attractions. Ski on the best Snowmaking in the NorthEast available at nearby Killington, Pico, or Okemo - you can ski at more than one resort on vacation. After a daytrip, return to your four season home away from home. Enjoy the views of Pico Peak and of the Green Mountains. Or sit and just relax to the sound of the brook which runs through the property and peaceful sounds of the countryside. Warm up by the fireplace and relax to the peaceful mountain setting and the fresh mountain air. Then step onto the deck at night and take in the Milkyway and millions of stars. Bring your laptop and check the weather and skiing for the day.

Area Description: Ira Vermont is a short drive of 20 minutes to the Pico at Killington Resort, then only 35 minutes to Okemo and Killington Basin or Manchester area Bromley and Stratton.

This central location is perfect for area day trips for 18 area golf courses, fall foliage touring, outlet shopping in Manchester, hiking The Long Trail or a variety of outdoors sports. When you stay here you can access the best 4 season activities all within reach.

The second bedroom has two sets of twin bunkbeds. This room is quaintly decorated with bears. The closet is full of games for the whole family to enjoy.

The third bedroom has a queen size bed and is accessorized for the fisherman at heart.

The kitchen is fully stocked. I enjoy cooking while I am here, so you will find almost anything you need including a double oven.

The dining room has a large table that will seat eight comfortably.

The family room has a leather sectional couch with a built-in recliner and a built in queen size bed. There is also a wonderfully soft recliner chair, that I always fall asleep in, while listening to the crackling of the huge wood burning stove.

The front and backyard are fully landscaped and fenced, there is also a play structure for children in the backyard. The backyard adjoins retired forest land. Enjoy the fresh mountain air, whether you are soaking in the hot tub, building snowmen with the kids or just enjoying a summertime barbeque.

This home was designed for Rest and Relaxation. The moment you walk in, you will feel all the pressures melt away. But of course, if you are not completely able to get away from the office, you can use the second phone line to modem in to the office or the fax machine if needed.

This is our home away from home. My family and I always enjoy being here and we have created many wonderful memories. I hope you will do the same.
