FUN CENTRAL Arlington Texas Offers Where the Men Are Vacation Packages

Arlington, Texas is the number 3 place in the country to meet single men according to Men’s Health Magazine and the Oprah Winfrey Show.

Men’s Health Magazine recently completed a study revealing the best cities in which to meet single men, particularly for women over the age of 35, and Arlington, Texas placed third in the United States! The cities and their rankings were revealed on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Friday, April 27th.

The rankings were determined by ratio of single men to single women, divorce rates, fitness levels, philanthropy, education level and attraction. Arlington ranked highly in philanthropy and very low in divorce rates.

To celebrate, the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau created vacation packages getaways, available on http://www.arlington.org/ . Women looking for single men can book options such as hotel stays, tickets to Six Flags Over Texas, the Texas Rangers, the Planetarium at University of Texas at Arlington (for those looking for brainiac men!), Legends of the Game Baseball Museum and Dyno-Rock Indoor Climbing Gym.

And in nearby Grand Prairie, women looking for eligible men can visit Lone Star Park, the thoroughbred horse racing facility or Louis Tussaud’s Palace of Wax — where men such as Brad Pitt and Kevin Costner hang out. True, they’re made of wax and won’t hold your hand or take out the trash, but they won’t complain about your latest purchases, either.

For a girlie portion of the visit, spa trips and shopping are high on the list.

Arlington, Texas is located halfway between Dallas and Fort Worth, so it’s conveniently located for activities in those cities as well.

Prices for the FUNtastic Packages vary from the luxurious to affordable.

Funtastic Getaways are also available by calling toll-free at 1-800-656-FUNN (3866).
